I say again, take us before the queen, or I shall be most displeased!””Very well; follow us.” The guards (if that’s what they are) seem almost sheepish beside their leader, as though they know how the scene will play out, and can tell that the queen will, in fact, side with Anne. It seems as though this has happened before. Perhaps it has.

As the guards lead the way for Anne, she leads the way for your small band, back the way you had come, to the room you had first entered

 

 

upon arriving.
