Sometimes it’s dinosaurs. Sometimes it’s cars and trucks. Sometimes it’s princesses. Sometimes it’s light sabers. Children can become interested in a variety of different things.
Several months ago one of my grandsons liked stop signs. He was fascinated with them. He liked to find them in books, along the road, on his school bus, or anywhere he could. I decided to write a story for him that had a stop sign in it. Since he was also learning to recognize the alphabet letters, I decided to have the story include some letters. The result was a story about Four Friends.
For the prompt this week, write a story about a stop sign. The stop sign could be big or little or vary in size. It could always be in the same place or move around. It could even be alive. The possibilities are endless.
