Father helped them fill a glass bottle 1/3 of the way with hot water. Then Mary and Marcus each got to put a few drops of rubbing alcohol into the water.

“Those drops will help the fog form faster,” said Father.

Finally they filled a strainer with ice cubes and set it on top of the bottle. Soon the fog began to form in the bottle.
