Stories are seldom (if ever) perfect the first time around. It takes time and effort to take an idea for a story and turn it into the story you want to tell.
Carmen says:
If you stuck with us during the Blue Stone series, great job! If you didn’t, keep going! For the next month’s prompt, please take a look at your Blue Stone story. You didn’t know beforehand what the chapters would be called, so that might have changed your intended story week by week. Or maybe you changed your mind as the weeks progressed, and decided to adjust something you had already written. Look over your story and see what changes need to be made to make the story better. If you can’t see anything to fix, you could show it to a friend or family member and ask for suggestions. Just remember – asking for someone’s opinion doesn’t mean you have to make the changes they suggest!
Enjoy working on your story, and be ready for more prompts after Labor Day!
